Our Beliefs

 

 

 

We believe that the One True God exists

eternally in the fellowship of the three persons -

the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is

God's one and only Son, who is fully God and yet fully human, and in whose sacrifice on the cross all  who believe in Him are justified and reconciled to God, and in whose

resurrection from the dead all who believe in Him are given eternal life.

We believe this is the great hope of the Gospel, God's good news for all creation, and that the work that was begun at the cross will be completed at Christ's second coming. During the time in between, the Church is God's instrument in the world, guided and empowered by the Holy Spirit to be God's worshipping, witnessing, and reconciling community.

We believe the Bible is the written revelation of God's plan for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, without error as originally given, and useful for teaching, conviction, correction and training in righteousness.

Elma Alliance Church adheres to the mission, values, and beliefs of the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination, including the affirmation that Jesus Christ is our Savior, Sanctifier, Healer and Coming King. To Him be the Glory!
